i just did a search on fuel filters and most of you put a filter before the pump which i was planning to do, but some of you put a secound one before the regulator is this necessary ? if so why ?

need to ask one other crap question (sorry) i've forgetten where the engine earth strap mounts, any one remember?

cheers guys *happy*

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

earth strap can go in a number of places, sometimes from subby to clutch side of the gearbox.

sometimes they go across the dogbone as such. anywhere really that will have good metal to metal contact and isnt isolated. PLus isnt in the way of anything.

For the cost of a filter, about £1 tops i always put one in between the carb and regulator, i.e. on the low pressure side.

Go for it, use some P clips to hold it all neatly in place

ive never understood why you would need 2 filters? surely the one would take out all the rubbish?unless the secondary one had a superior mesh??
