anyone got a clue what this engine number belongs to? BHM1389N

cant seem to find a trace of it anywhere

Closest that I can find is...

BHM1307E 850cc - Gold Seal unit, 85H prefix replacement

I'd presume that it's the same engine type, just a different serial at the end.

cheers for the links, only thing i can find with the prefixes are non turbo engines etc..

this is the number that i had on my 'metro turbo' engine i have, but to be honest the plate its on looked like it had been hand stamped then bodged onto the block so maybe not the right number. just trying to find out what the numbers actually off now

My turbo engine has a BHM number, cant remember what is is but its a goldseal unit, had the head off it and it is definately the genuine turbo article.

its a reconditioned unit.

i believe that there were silver and gold seal units which were just different levels of overhaul
