When I sourced my Turbo engine, It came without the electronic(?) ignition module. At present I am using a bog-standard Mini distributer with points etc. The car is still garaged yet and appears to be running ok but will the points set up be ok for the road or is it better to keep to the original set-up??? |

The advance curve of the Mini dizzy will be wrong for the Turbo engine. You ideally need to use the Turbo dizzy, or have a standard one modified to suit.

or just lock it so the weights inside it don't move, this is a very easy and quick fix. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph
