due to the box being in the sump oil there will always be a certain amount of metal particles in the oil, most of these will pass through the mesh on the oil strainer and go through the pump.

Just sounds like an old worn turbo engine to me, and that the whole lot could do with a rebuild, inlcuding the box. On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

ive rebuilt te box engine is next jus waitin for the block back from machine shop.

On the valve stems there were some on inlets but not exhausts.. You need them on the inlets but there is plenty of discussion on the forum on the pros and cons of exhaust seals Edited by Turbo Tel on 18th Jan, 2009. website:- http://www.terryhunt.co.uk
