I have a USB stick which I am having problems opening. I have tried it on 3 computers and get the same problem each time. I plug it in and under "My Computer" it still pops up under the same name "TOSHIBA (E:)" but it is labelled a folder instead of a drive. When I click on it I get a message "E: Access Denied".

Not willingly anyway :$ I did think that maybe I inadvertently put a password on it. Is there any way of checking? On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

Some USB sticks install software on the PC which is needed to access it. If you don't have the rights to install the software on the PC then you won't have access to the USB stick.
