TBH Its not all that neat that plate he is using is very agricultural, Don’t get me wrong well done to him for getting it to work. But I still don’t see it as a contender to the K series conversion

I think by the pic on his web site that it is far from a straight fit Joey looking at it it looks like every water way stud and oil way have to be pluged moved and altered and whas with the decompression plate setup

Also huge cut-outs on 2 & 3 for the valves which must unbalance the CRs.

Must give the guy credit for having the nouse to give it a go. Top job.

I dont think there is any 8 port head that will go 'straight on' a 998 a series block*tongue*

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I really like this idea..... and with a complete engine for a cbr 600 so cheap with carbs or the later ones with throttle boddies...

Think I will get myself a headgasket and do some measurements

1st to provide proof of a running Bimmy Conversion!

Brisbane ,Australia

there is no supercharger on Davids Honda CBR Headed small bore

it`s N/A & runs on the bike carbs, revs well but isn`t really suited for big bore donks

the oil pump is external (on the end of the exhaust cam) the dist sits on the end of the inlet cam, & the cams are belt driven

if you click onto www.ausmini.com you will be able to find his posts with more info on the subject

I`m onto a 20v conversion now tho *smiley*
