Reads "my mates" max power whilst wearing my Mrs's underwear

is there any other turbo lump other than the metty one that can be dropped in the mini ? montego turbo summin like that, theres some one i know who wants to do a conversion but cant find a metty.

Not easily.

Anything will fit given time and effort, but in absolute terms the metro engine into a mini is an 'easy' conversion, as it uses original driveshafts/engine mounts/gear linkage etc as well as being the same engine type.
If there was another easy conversion such as a montego turbo that gives more power as standard then we would all be doing it rather than arsing about squeezing every last drop of power out of an A series engine that dates to 1948 or some equally ancient time.

montego is the same design of turbo...

just a different spec inside.
