just make sure that you check the voltage ratings for the plug for the head lamps etc. i was going to use a Speakon or cannon plug. if it was the latter it would have been a cannon plug per side of the car.

I used Bosch 4 pin connectors. They type of things you would see on MK3 Golfs etc. They are crap though. I used the proper cripm to put the terminals on but 2 came off. Also, the pins have a habbit of pulling out of the casing.I think I will be using the ones Demon Tweeks sell on my new loom On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

I used block connectors I got from RS not overly sophisticated for the main loom. For the light connectors and indicator connectors I have swwiched to "Deans Connectors" These are gold plated and cost a couple of quid.

I can't believe you're all using trailer plugs, you might as well chuck some bricks in the boot the amount they weigh, get a proper multi way plug from AutoSpark or Vehicle wiring products. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Army plugs are best, mount a socket to the car and have a plug feeding the front i had loads of problems finding for Vtec but if you look on some car supply pages for kit cars you will find what you need. all sorts of goodies |

Mines on the drivers side, in whats left of the inner wing behind the cross member. I can reach it easily with the bonnet off. |
