would you recomend using this ? is it actually any good at cleaning the shit out ? is it safe to use on a turbo ? im concerned about the turbo bearings... |

My personal opinion is leave the shit where it is rather than try and flush it out and risk it getting round into a bearing. But then I don't ever fit an unknown engine these days so generally clean them out before I fit them.

My mate is nuts about flushing oil. Personally, I believe that it is watered down oil. The stuff which it is watered down with has inferior lubrication properties.....so might be dangerous. I use that £2.50 20W50 that you can get. Total filth. Works though. Then again, all of my engines have smoked, etc, etc Bugger off, I'm getting there. |
