Hi just had my new engine back, pre verto clutch now could you tell me if Ive fitted this correct? Spring to nipple

chris, there should be a small bracket which the nipple holds on and then a small hole where the spring locates on the bracket buddy

i have searched for pics ........ does any one have on for chris

Wrong in photo....

As Benross says, a tear drop shaped "tag" should be sandwiched with the bleed nipple to attach the spring to.

Whilst the spring isn't essential - getting the stop bolt gap right is more important - it does stop the release bearing from rubbing/spinning all the time.

Cheers guys do you know if you can get this bracket that sandwiches in betweeen the nipple? none on minispares.com. Or will I have to make one?

mine came with the new slave but it could be made out of a bit of sheet steel in about 10 mins

As Brett says, a 10 minute job, a bit of 1.6 or 2 mm steel, two holes, one big enough for the bleed nipple threads to go through and one the right size for the spring to hook through......

What about the small 1/4" UNF bolt down on the clutch arm. I cannot see it...Is it there?
