Sorry if this has been asked before but could not find the answer with the search button.

The Miglia came with solid engine mounts. It also has rose jointed bottom arms, solidly mounted subframes and hard doughnuts. There are a couple of solid, rose jointed engine steadies.

The car is going to be MOT'd, but the furthest it will be driven will be to Avon, about 50miles.

I don't fancy using the solid engine mounts, but if the driver is going to suffer tooth loss due to vibration anyway, why use anything else?

So should I get some genuine rover mounts or fit the solids?

Thanks.

The DON engine is solid mounted, I wouldn't say its especially bad, certainly did 10 or so min stints round Castle Combe in it with no probs.

Think I'll fit the solid mounts.

As long as we don't damage the silverware on the way home *hehe!*

I'll buy some Rover mounts to go in stock anyway in case.

I would say the solid ones are most unpleasant both on road and track - go for some poly ones with decent tie bars
