hi. well basically i havent started my mini in months cos its not my every day car, and i just have it in my garage. went to start it today, the raido comes on and all lights etc but when i go to crank it nothin wil happen, nothing at all. changed the battery, put in the battery in from my every day car. and the same story the mini lights will come on and radio on the first turn of the key, but when i go to try and start it nothing will happen and all radio and lights go off. any ideas please people??

Bad connection! Check both your battery connection for security, the battery -ve lead to boot floor, earth strap and the live conections on the back of the Starter. Own the day

What year is the car - could be the relay on the bulkhead if its an 88 on car

its a 92. ok theres a update, the car is crankin now, but it wont fire. any ideas???

Id check spark plugs, HT leads possibly ? |

done it. and whipped them with kitchen towl to make sure they werent damp. there is very very little petrol in it, so might put some petrol in it and try it then.

If not some volatile spray possibly just to get her going then id just stretch her legs a little. |

Use a heat gun on the spark plugs then give it a try. Own the day
