Are the Choke seals from an NA HIF any different from the Seals on a HIF Turbo??? 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Turn the choke seals the other way round for N/A. I think theres 2 different sizes too. On 19th Jan, 2010 wil_h said:

Can i test the choke whilst i have the carb off the car.
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Even N/A carbs are pretty well sealed as they have to deal with vacuum. In reality using an unmodified HIF or SU for a turbo application is perfectly feasable.

Hmm, theres something a miss with my motor, i was having massive overfuelling problems even with the mixture screw screwed right in! 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Yeah, 4.5psi on idle. Its built inline to my carb. Edited by MikeRace on 28th Jan, 2009. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Hmm dunno, i havent checked, the reason being is that the car drives perfect. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.
