a couple of mine have sheared off on the inside, are they special in anyway or is it a case of finding one that fits?

I had to change mine to some uprated ones. The original ones were junk. Just find some decent 6mm allen head ones.

Odd that I never had this issue with my Spectrums! Maybe when MB started making them again they fitted shite?

Never had the problem with my Spectrum either, they are s/s. I have heard a few stories of MB bolts breaking though

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

dont get them from MB, unbrako are easy enough to get hold of.

I had 3 of mine shear which made the tyre come off the rim!

to be fair they'd had a fair bit of road use so probably due for a change.

Umm, so you are only using 12 instead of the possible 16 holes.

That may be telling you something.

theres only 12 possible fixing holes on the 'face side' of the wheels, should the inner half of the wheel be fixed on with 4 more then?

If the outer rim and centre are only drilled for 12, then you have to live with that.

My SC rims have 16 bolts.

Of the mb wheels i have seen the rims are drilled for both a 12 and 16 hole pcd. I haven't actually seen centres for a long time for the mini centres but we use them all the time at work and have 13" 16 hole wheels for the f1s.
