having some trouble getting my engine to start...

its a new engine so it hasn't run before. it's defiantley got a spark at the plugs and the fuel is getting in there fine, although i think it may be too much.

I've set the fuel presure at 3.5 psi, and the only thing that has changed from the last engine as its the same carb is that i've blocked off the balance pipe and fitted a dump valve.

We've checked the timing and it seems to be in the right sort of place, probably not exact but it should run even if it runs shitty.

Anyone got any idea's? i dont really want to start messing with the mixture until its running. I might just take the plenum off and try and start it with just the carb incase there's something causing a restriction in the airflow? maybe?

Cheers, Nick.
