Hi.

just wondering what kind of valve seat angles and transitions from bowl to seat you use.

this because when you fit large intakes to a 202 head you have the option of either cutting the approach as suggested by Vizard. i.e. cut the SSR downcut back to the 45 making for a ''egg'' shape approach to the seat. or just blending it leaving a full circular ''choke'' somewhat down the valveseat.

My latest 202. It has got 295 inlets

I try to let the throat enter the 60 degree undecut vertically.

Hiya. That looks quite similar to what i have done (i.e. good *wink* )

do you have flow numbers ?

i just have (quite backward i know) flowed the exhaust..rather reasonable flow I must say. but the FQ rig needs to be properly installed when i merge my two houses..

lots of fun..just discovered i left one intake valve at my other house..220km away

No flow numbers. The flow bench I could have used needs repairing and I cannot access it.

THese are radius seats, so no last century "three angle" ones. This makes the transition into the throat and chamber much easier.

There is need for quite some porting after the seats are cut. I hate that, it's nerve wrecking.

I thought I had some pictures, but alas, cannot find them. I'm having 24 seats cut this week, I'll try to get some more pictures.

It looks like this`:
