I have had a problem with loosing oil, plug one usually has oil on it, so is suspect the rings may have some where or more likely the bore is glazed. Bat (gavin) suggested putting liquid ajax into the bore with the intention of taking the glaze off. Has anyone heard of this or even done it. what would be the pros and con's, damage if any?? thanks |

I'd have the head off for a look first, make sure there is no damage to the bore.
