Buy a copy of Mini Mag/ world and get your phone out.

I always use local machine shops so have no experiance of kits. But I would be phoning swiftune, Avonbar or possably MED. I would avoid Minisport, and mini speed.

These are my own opinions and I have missed out plenty of other builders who cou do a decent job, I just can't remember their name.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

i am sure if you looked in your local thompson you could find a good engine builder near buy and may get a better deal, especially in the climate we are in. I'm not a fan of these kits as they are made for max profit therefore imo parts and bits are not as good quality, and put together on a friday afternoon

If you arent sure what you are looking for, then speak to a reputable engine builder like Swiftune etc.

You can discuss your requirements, and they can advise and price accordingly. That way you will get what you need, or can decide whether to make changes to suit your budget.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Swifty or MED. TBH you should go to MED as they will happily supply a kit. Swifty prefers to build your engine for you which will obviously cost more plus he isnt too keen on road engines sometimes

Paul

EDIT Just realised youre in Kent. Pop into Swiftys and see what he says

I seriously doubt it!

since your in kent i would have said swifty as above. but you may also wish to chat to Gerald Dale as they do minis and rolling road but i dont know if they build engines. further afield would be vmax scart.
