bit off target this , C5 2lt hdi , uses loads of water , now starting to over heat (twice so far) and spitting all the water out , but it just keeps on running , starts first time , pulls well .. is it just a matter of time before it goes BANG???????????? Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

Funnily enough my 20lt HDI has just started loosing water, very slowly at the moment. I am guessing it is the head gasket. Mmmm rad weld, worth a try I think. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Mine never get hot enough for the fans to cut it. It is just slowly losing water. Could be a leaky hose, but it is difficult to see in the dark and when the engine by is constantly wet. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk
