Hi all,

I know this has come up before but i jus wanted to check. Im gonna be running the fuel lines shortly and was wondering would it be safe to run them through the inside of the car underneath the carpet in copper tube? or would it be safer to run them under the car?

Cheers matt

yeah i agree, done it both ways and underneath turned out to be the easier way, much neater aswell.

ok i expect il do it underneath then. Where is the cheapest/best place to get braided petrol line? only need a bit of it for when it goes through the floor in the boot.
Or can you buy jus the overbraid?

cheers matt

yer i have the copper microbore pipe and normal rubber high pressure fuel hose. but was worried about it chaffing on the bodywork as it goes into the boot.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Use rubber grommets. Dont leave it to just go through on its own. Grommets are pennies. Much cheaper than over braided plus id still use a grommet with over braid.

seconded, if the bradded pipe chaffs(sp) it wil wear away and fail just as easy as a rubber pipe.
