lol from what i can remember it was some guy constantly going on about this mag he was making, 'maga7ine' i never really followed it much .. got bored but it sounded a good idea, i think :)

An email notification of this recent event was sat in my inbox this morning.

I still feel however there is a place in the market for a magazine like this tosspot talked about. I think someone with more time, money and spelling skills than myself should have a go at something like this.

I agree with Jim. While the guy might have been a bit of a numpty, his idea of a magazine which concentrated on the technical side of things, instead of ice and fiberglass, was a good one.

I once asked him when this magazine was going to emerge, this was through sheer interest as it did seem a great idea.

Knowing alot of people had invested their valuable time for free for his benefit.

He got all shitty in a pm and threatend to take me to court in a nutshell.

A1 timewaster.

aparrently you were pissed, but still bang out of order calling me a liar.

As other people involved in the project are aware, the reason the mag is on hold until christmas is that is when I expect my dad to be dead by.

I'm helping him through his last days on this world like any decent son would. It's a prolonged and painful death for such a young man and obviously he is terrified and expects his familty to be there for him.

You have annoyed a lot of the people involved in my business, (which if you figure in the cash I have put in and time time given FOC by Dave, Matt Woods, AlexB, AC Dodd, Jeff at Minispares and about another 20 people on the team comes to some £110,000 of investment), by calling me a liar and it is not acceptable.

I'm sorry to have to write this as I thought you were a top bloke and really admired your cars and respected your opinions.

If it were anyone else who had done this then they would be getting a nice letter in the post from my business solicitor about defaming me and my company. I'll take it on the chin and ignore it as it's you, but please don't do this again.

I hope you realise now why I was so offended and upset by your comments.

Beleive me I would much rather be launching the mag as planned rather than watching my dad die, but thats life.

It's too short to hold grudges, so I've forgotton about it now. Good luck with your racing.
