i used the existing push rod now iv only done this my conversion self once so presuming its all done right, i am sure this needs to be longer^^ does the plunger that presses the clutch spring travel along way in before the bearing is running on the clutch spring iirc there is 2 nuts/ bolts for adjustment, one on the plunger to stop it pressing too far and one to stop the arm returning too far? try screwing the 2'nd of the two described out if there is loads of slack before the spring is compressed obviously i could be well off, and you'll have to excuse my non-technical explanation its bed time lol

when i put the car together i replaced the original with one from minispares so i would have thought that would be correct "Tuning should be a compromise between what is possible and what is necessary"
