Not too fussy about the weight saving, but how does iron and titanium act seize-wise? Aluminium and steel is a bitch as we all know.

I wouldn't use these if I had them given, Titanium galls up like a bastard, its a bad choice for a threading application where the standard materials suffer badly from seizing up due to the heat cycles already.
