Well i've been thinking, i have a set of heavy duty adjustable rods. I don't really have money for a pair of Kad ones, but looking at them i see this.....

They use one spherical joint which goes into the subframe, then essentially use the bottom arm end to attach to the spherical bearing.

a doner set of tie bars? for the other end and some of these? what do you reckon?

leeds/wakefield.

yes Stef ,it really is that simple,
the biggest problem i see it threading the origional tie rod end , as in the past ive found them of such poor quality mild steel that a threading die has ripped parts of the thread out it has just cut.
so i now if i do any i screw cut the thread on the lathe 90%, then fininsh with a die nut,
but other than that its a piss ball,

Ok so if i were to make them a little less complex than having them adjustable in-situ (they are already threaded at one end) so i was just going to weld the new end on that connects to the spherical joint? is that going to be strong enough?
