Theres no such thing as a garage that is too big-only too small.

i would have thought 8 x15 is good for most servicing jobs but equally you could find it restrictive if you have a rebuild planned i have found with my dads garage over a cirtain size and it(the un used space) just be comes a storage for crap

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

Any garage is better then no garage in my view. I think you just adapt to the space you have. I managed to take over a 25 by 20 foot garage when I restored mine, If I had a smaller garage, I would just have to be more organised!

My house currently has a 7m x 2.5m garage, that is ok, but too narrow for serious work. I am just about to build a 6m x 6m garage on the front lawn to replace it.

Mine is a 5m x 7m and I could do with more space. Build as big as you can afford/get away with *happy*

as everyone says, you can do with bigger but having a garage is a bonus in itself. Ideally you want something wide enough that you can walk round the car when the doors are open and enough room for storage, workbench and floor space for the obligatory engine out jobs
