King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Just trying to work out the best place for it. I'm going to put it inside the car, so I guess it's somewhere uner either the top or bottom dash rails, or behind the clocks.

Was just wondering how hot they get. If I'm going to put it out of the way, I don't want it getting too hot and melting things around it.

Pics would be good if you have them...

Thanks

Mine's in the same place as Wolfie's, you can just about bolt it to the dash rail with no parcel shelf etc in (underneath the air vent hole).

Mine is literally shoved behind the plastic foldy dashboard stuff just to the left of the clocks, not strapped down or anything.

On the hillclimber, it's in the passenger footwell, no good if you have a passenger seat!

As long as it's in the cabin positioning is not important. Could even put it under the seat if space is tight (that's where Subaru put their ECUs)

Mine will be having a standard dash with no fasier on it. I was thinking under the bottom dash rail to the right of the steering column where the switch pod usualy is...

I also have a standard type centre binnacle. The MJ is under the shelf far left on the passenger side, the EDIS is under the shelf at the center (tucked up behind the switches, hard mounted to the metal for heatsink) you can not see the EDIS and the MJ is barely visible but easy to connect up..

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

That's ruining your interior mate, hide it away. Or stick a bit of veneer on it at least.
