looking at the MED site and there are lots to choose from.

if money was no object and you got the x-lite flywheel and x-lite backplate would this be useable in a road going car or should they be saved only for race vechicles and you should aim for a bit more weight on a weekend dry weather car.

It's completely down to personal preference. To me, a road car needs confy seats and a radio, to others a road car is something that is merely 'road legal' - not neccesarly practical...

I have a minispares ultralight flywheel, and lightened backplate, I dont know how the weights compare, but I find it perfect for road use and its on the daily drive.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

if you want the engine to spin up quickley use a minispares ultralight flywheel and back plate

if you are fitting a new clutch etc.. as above assembley please have all the rotating assembley ballanced

i have a med ultralite pre-verto setup in mine it weighs 15.5lb i assembled flywheel backplate clutch plate and diaphragm and all bolts

interesting, because i was thinking about getting the MED x-lite flywheel and x-lite backplate for mine. so all in all you cant go "to light"
