I'm guessing even less: a friend of mine once brought me a Cooper S half engine (block/crank/rods/pistons) from the US and he never mentioned paying for any overweight (max 35kgs). 1963 Cooper

How light can you make it that is the question, i was thinking the other day, if you remove weight from from everything how much could you achually save eg engine box suspension ect Drives

I'm using an MPi block. It has no dizzy hole but still had the boss inside the block for the dizzy drive. FastCarl machined that off for me. I plan to tidy up all the imperfections etc inside. Won't save much weight, but should help with oil flow On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
