Quite possibly, ie, get a mate to put the first bid in to make it look as if the price is OK. But no-one else thought so, so it didn't really sell, he just made it look as if it did.

So it could be be the same one but set with a lower starting price this time.....

If people can't tell a standard gearbox from a straight cut gearbox, they shouldn't be modifying their engines.

Yes, but people don't look at the photos - or don't understand what they are looking at anyway - but the word "turbo" in the description.... that makes all the difference...
