hi, my mate and i have just bought a 1979 mini 1000 that needs some work for £120. we know it needs some welding on the sill and a new 'a' panel. it also needs a dizzy cap, plug leads, starter, seats, wheels, lock set, rocker cover and some other little bits. the plan is to get it running and then put it in for an mot to see where we stand. if it doesnt do too bad then the project can begin. i also have a metro turbo engine with 40k on it that we will hopefully fit in the near future all being well. :) any tips?
