While my engine is out Im trying to correct my under reading speedo, it currently has all the drive assembly from the metro box, and metro turbo final drive. The link for toms mini site speedo calculator keeps coming up as the link is broken, so having difficulty making progress. Can anyone help me with this, the car runs on 165, 60, 12s and the speedo was accurate on the 998/12" wheel final drive (am I correct in saying 3.1?) But I dont know the tpm of the speedo head, its a smiths 3 clock binicle.
All help greatfull
Cheers Shane.

It's not Tom's but it is another good one...

This link to Tom's has just worked for me (it is the one I have bookmarked)

EDIT - your basic problem is that if it's a Metro box, it will most likely have the 5 tooth steel worm in it rather than the 6 or 7 that the Mini speedo needs.

I have managed to get to the car this morning and have removed the binicle, to my supprise the clocks are not smiths, they are nnippon seiki, does any one know where to find the tpm no on them, have stripped it all down to no avail, the facia reads to 110mph, using toms mini site the only one listed is the 1300 tpm, do you think this is correct?
Cheers
