Does anyone know what the offset is of the 10x6 mambas? And if they were all made with the same offset?

Cheers
Matt

Yeah I'd say so! I was trying for a new top speed...got to about 110, waited for the on coming cars to clear, and booted my foot down...ended up bolting accross the central white lines! *hehe!*

Its handy living next to a private road! *wink*

I seem to be get alot of bump steer too!

I have a set of the very early Mambas (10 x 6) which I will be using.

I know there are some differences in the later ones because Nic PM'd some photos (a long time ago) when I asked how his fitted over 4 pots and mine apparently won't - whether the difference includes offset, I don't know - the photos showed the valves in a different place....

Tell me exactly what measurement(s) you want and I'll measure mine up (they are all off the car at the moment).

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

My older ones definately are more inset than my late ones.

Ive put wellers on my car before and I dont think they were any different to the ones I currently use

The measurement from the outer edge of the rim to the face that mates against the disc would be good enough to compare with mine. :)

Really? You never seemed to get trouble with torque steer though with an open diff, did you?

76mm

That's from the the bolting surface (that would sit on the drive flange) to the outermost part of the outer rim (the bit a clip-on weight would clip over).

Mine would be about 1982/3 vintage.....

Just measureed mine and they measure 94mm (ish) so that means yours are 18mm or so more inset! *surprised*
