looking to fit my lightened flywheel tomorrow and just looking at it there are three what look like spacers cable tied to the flywheel? where the hell do they go? dont remember seeing them when i took the old one out.

If it's a lightened flywheel, it's thinner - the spacers go under the clutch pressure plate straps to compensate for the thinner disk and keep the straps parallel.

Your original flywheel would have had nothing or just a thin washer under the straps.

This photo was taken for other reasons (so doesn't show it very well) but I've put a circle around it. It will be obvious when you assemble it !!!



Because the flywheel is thinner, the straps would be very bent without the spacers.
