My sheddy blue mini has front half floors fitted ontop of the very rusty originals.

There are a few rusty holes, but they have new metal above them.

Will that fail an MOT? I'm doing a load of welding underneath it anyway so I can patch it up if I need to...

i dont think it will fail if the 'top' floors have been seam welded in. Then again its a bit above the MOTers duties to go lifitng carpets and stuff to check.

If i was bodging it to get it therough id seam sealer them and give it a coat of underseal! oldskool! *happy*

It passed it's last test with the half floors fitted, so I'll probably just underseal it all and say fook it. The screw driver goes through, then bangs onto good metal....
