you will want a braided oil supply pipe to the turbo. the std one gets in the way of the mini engine steady bar.

minisport advertised injection tanks with pumps sender etc for about 90ish quid i think not bad really as its brand new and youll probably pay close to that if you see any on ebay, mine cost 80 quid from mini scrappers no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

id say yes thats a good idea. should see a comfy 100bhp with a slight boost increase. dont forget to have the chambers opened up in the head to lower the compression ratio and you'll be laughing |

Opening up the chambers in the head, where could i get this done and roughly how much would it cost? also what compression ratio would i be looking for??

that does sound interesting, but how driveable will it be at low revs?

More power will make it less friendly at low revs... but unless you spend all day in traffic then there isnt much point worrying about it!

LOL, a bit late yeah i got the distributor. I also have a fuel pressure reg so its just the spi tank to go, we are looking at putting the engine in at the end of the month, so alot of posts will be going up then to make certain that what we are doing is right as we go along..

if i had to change anything on mine id fit an actuator and the bleed valve hoses as these are a pain in the arse to do with the engine in! i got my fuel pump from avonbar bit expensive but it works well and had no probs |
