after combe and seeing all the cool minis and notso cool ive decided to keep mine off the road for winter and get it sorted. it might even get a rolling roll tune! so long as ive got it ready to take to minis vs beetles ill be happy.
im gonna start with the old tinworm which isnt that bad but just priced the panels and it will cost about 300ish without front wings etc.
i think im gonna fit a fibreglass flip front( i cant afford carbon fibre iain ) so can anybody recommend a good company to buy one from? obviously none of them will fit perfectly but some must be better than others.
unless iain can do me a good price on c/f one?

C/f is the way to go

Cant remember exactly what the curley ones work out at but roughly £190 for a two piece one + vat and postage.

Good to here your having a bit of a go at the old girl, hope mines something like for mini's vs beetles as well. Might have a spare engine in the pipeline which im sure ill need! lol!

i can get them at trade mate, every little helps dan wants a load of bits and i want a boot floor and arches so we could order at the same time... Need a big first order to set up the account you see.

yeah i am after quite a few curley bits, need to check up on how easy it is to get an MOT with having the boot floor replaced with a carbon fibre insert!

i have a c/f boot floor, i was gonna put it in my new car but i was wondering whether the car will lose any stiffness, ( i wont have a cage for a while) or is he stiffness mainly in the rear bulkhead. i will be keeping the standard rear subby too so will that help?

iain if you get me a price on a front with removable bonnet, boot lid(MK 3) fancy some arches too but dont know what there called i think there the miglia ones ill let you know if i want them and i probably will
