hello all. i have just brought a re-build kit for my carb. dont seem to know whats going on with the choke seals? i have had a search on here and a few people have mentioned that they dont come in the kit? mine are completely shot, infact one is in two bits. how would i get hold of these? does any body have some? please help?????? |

have a look through your kit before you buy more mate, i had 2 lots in mine, whitch was goood because i have just used the second lot on my new carb :) Yes i moved to the darkside |

i do have quite alot of o rings in the kit but none of them seem to fit the choke shaft

the choke seals are noticeably bigger Yes i moved to the darkside |

how do you manage to get the choke shaft and cassing together with the o rings in if they are bigger??

look at burlens web site they do them for like 50mpence each bit of a bummer having to buy them but they have them, they are just the butterfly spindle type "Can I legally marry people now that I am ordained in the Church of the SubGenius?" aka i know jack sh"t

on the bit of paper i recived with the kit it mentions an o ring, then o ring seal then a shaft seal and then a main seal????? |

nogin, i have the butterfly spindle type seal. its the o rings that are on the shaft i cant seem to work out |

There are two sizes that I know of. My kit didn't have the larger type included. On 19th Jan, 2010 wil_h said:

that might be the problem. i think i will ring burlens tomorrow and see what they have to say. cheers for your help guys |

When I got a kit a few years ago mine didn't have the correct choke O rings in either. |
