A friend and myself just recently went to pick up a few minis at a farm. The owner had passed away and the youngest car there had stood there for about 10 years !
They where infested with rats and the chickens had decided that they would make nice coupes.
It was horrible !
I dont want to know what these cars will be like ! *surprised*

"So wat we gonna do tonight Brain?"
"Same thing we do evernight Pinky!"
"Try to take over the world!"

if they are complete then they probably have some of the harder to find parts on them, so will be worth something to somebody.

Not all of them will be completly fooked....

The auctioneers website doesn't list the sale yet (there are some preliminary details of the auction on BBC's Norfolk pages) but, if the auctioneers do their job right and advertise in the right "classic" magazines/papers/websites, I recon a mint too.

a LIL fishing village on the coast - Newcastle Upon Tyne

this reminds me of that other similar story that was doing the rounds, big warehouse on a farm with hundreds of exotic sportscars from the sixties in.

There's a wicked thread on Retro Rides with hundreds of rusted down forgotten cards, pretty cool to scan through.

I think im talkiing about the same one richie is, but this reminds me of something i was once told about. it was about a couple that spent their retirement fund on a place abroad.

It was basically a huge shed. When they went to view it the previous owner had locked it all up with some BEEFY locks etc and then passed away without giving the keys to anyone.

They couldnt get in to view it but decided to just buy it, aparently in one of those what the hell moments. as it was quite cheap for what it was, where it was.

Anyway, they go up there once it is all complete and the fella cracks out the disc cutter cutting through the plate that locks the doors together.

They opened the doors and saw this:

The story doesnt seem to be true, but it would be nice ey!

I'd just fill em up with bags of sand, black the windows out and weigh the buggers in. Might get enough back off the tat man for some accralite 18cc dish pistons. *happy*

Aparently that was some car dealer who just collected various cars and parked them up. What ive heard is someone was begging him to let them take pictures so they let him in

And all those wrecked ferraris and other exotica that you often see belonged to Saddam Hussain's family and were wrecked by american soldiers
