hi, i have just rebuilt my carb, but when i put it back on the car it had problems running. i adjusted the mixture screw a few time and found it only wanted to run when the screw was right the way in or with the choke right on. it was at least 7 turns out before, but if you adjust it out even the slightest bit she will die? any ideas what the problem is?? |

You have an airleak somewhere - probably from when you re-installed the carb. |

ok guys. there is no air leak what so ever, checked and checked again. i have just put a colour tune on her and found she is running lean with the screw right in and even leaner if you move it out slightly and then it cuts out. i also just added the T peice trick and no joy with that either. any help on where or what to look at next would be greatfull. cheers |

Always look at what you have done since it last ran properly. If you are positive that there is no air leak I suggest you strip the carb again to see if you may have assembled any parts wrongly. |
