hi, i have just rebuilt my carb, but when i put it back on the car it had problems running. i adjusted the mixture screw a few time and found it only wanted to run when the screw was right the way in or with the choke right on. it was at least 7 turns out before, but if you adjust it out even the slightest bit she will die? any ideas what the problem is??*smiley*

You have an airleak somewhere - probably from when you re-installed the carb.

ok guys. there is no air leak what so ever, checked and checked again. i have just put a colour tune on her and found she is running lean with the screw right in and even leaner if you move it out slightly and then it cuts out. i also just added the T peice trick and no joy with that either. any help on where or what to look at next would be greatfull. cheers

Always look at what you have done since it last ran properly. If you are positive that there is no air leak I suggest you strip the carb again to see if you may have assembled any parts wrongly.
