right im selling the head off my car its hardly done any miles. Ive took it down med steve has had a look at it and reckons its worth what i want. I want 375 ono and a standard 1275 head in exchange. The head new is over £500. Valve sizes are 35.7mm and 29.2 mm. Ill add some pictures later on tonight when im home. To be honest, that's a bit expensive.

I just baught a MED race/rally (RC) head here done one season and it cost me 255 euros which I taught about right. On 17th Feb, 2009 Rob H said:

why is it so good on a high compression engine? Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

because its been skimmed a fair bit so would suite a high comp engine more than a low comp |

Did you buy it of MED yourself? The reason for asking is that MED usually stamp their heads elsewhere. It could be old though.. Edited by Vegard on 20th Mar, 2009. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

no i bought it off a mate. Put it on my car and compression is to high so want a low comp head |

Why not get the chambers enlarged on that one?

Don't think thats a MED head. Sorry. I had a MED head and ALL there heads have a serial number stamped in along with the name. Also they wouldn't stamp there name in wonky. Sorry. |

ring steve up at med if you have any doubts. He has the numbers on his computer to tell him what head it is. |

Tuners head stampings are quite inconsistent tbh, but i would have expected that they punch in the chamber volume? Or the cutters initials? "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

I was there when we took the head to MED, it does have the serial numbers stamped in, they are on the top near where the rockers sit. Steve pumped the numbers into the PC and told us everything about the head, so it is an MED head thanks. On 25th Sep, 2009 mini13 said:

To be fair, I got my head from MED too and all I had stamped on my head was MED in the exact place as above so I'll vouch that your head is from MED.
