Hi all,
I'm looking of an in-line valve that can operate on my vac connection on the carb. So that idle/low revs it shuts and when you put your foot down and draw more air into the carb it opens.

Anyone got any ideas?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

that seems like a tricky one,

would be a
easier to set it up to work te other way,

whats it for? that migh give me an epiphany lol.

I have a suck through setup supercharger. It has a breather for each site of the gear and bearing cases which are either side of the rotors. This needs to have equal pressure from the rotor and gear casing to protect the bearings form having all of the grease / oil blown out. This is currently plugged in to the Vac connection on the carb so that its open to manifold pressure. I would like to allow the connection to be open to the manifold at a certain pressure ie when you start to accelerate and therefore the Sc starts to create boost.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

ah ok,

the metty turbo had a valve that did somthing like this for crank case breathing,

when there was suction in the inlet manifold (at idle and cruise) it would route to the inlet manifold when the throtle is opened or there is boost it routs to the air filter.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
