Can anyone confirm the thread for the non-SPi filter head is 1/4" NPT? I stupidly bought the braided hose kit from MS that is for the SPi one only (that's 11/16" UNF I think) so I got an adapter that is 1/4" NPT but it is clearly not the right thread. Am I mental? I may have to get the SPi head but that is NLA, does anyone have one they want to sell?

Yes pre 92 filter heads are 1/4" NPT. |

I mayn do that, the adapter I have is the right thread but doesn't fit, unless it's a taper thread or something. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:
