any one got a slave bracket like this, i cant figure it out... how the hell does the slave mount onto that weird thing !

thats a metro cable mount *wink*
not slave mount

slap me if im wrong, but cant you just remove that bracket nd mount the slave onto the bell housing, or are the bolt holes different on the mini bell housing to the metro turbo one?

that end cover and bracket are no use in a mini
you need the hydrolic operated clutch end cover and slave bracket *wink*

have fun changeing it *laughing* Lol

what is it doing on my car ! lol its been pissing me off for weeks, so do you guys reckon i should buy a new bracket and slave, it should fit ok right ?

ha ! lol its for a bloody cable type operated clutch omg what a mong i am.
sorry mate when you say end cover you mean the whole end casing ? i dont fancy doing this !

yup as far as I know the end caseing is different but you might get away with fitting a hydrolic clutch arm in the cable case

Nope your wrong billy *smiley* , the end casing is identical, just needs the arm changing and correct verto bracket buying *smiley* plus associated slave and pipes

having problems finding secoundhand slave ect, minispares sell them new and the brackets also, need to ask is the pin that connects the arm to the slave actually part of the slave or seperate ?

the pi n you are refering to is acually atatched tot the end of the arm, and simply locates inside the slave. which bits are you needing? im pretty sure ive got a complete verto system in my shed if you need any bits?

mate if you can find the parts great ! i can send you some cash, or pay by paypal, as you can see by the pic i need everything, arm, slave, bracket pins ect, the master cylinder i got.
can you let me know asap as i need to get my motor on the rd !

sorry to prolong this thread but on my arm theres seems to be a lot of play(in and out) about half inch or so, is this normal ?

yeah its just where your pulling the clutch bearing away from the clutch, as long as you adjust it as per haynes it will be fine.

right got back and been hunting in the shed, amongst a shit load of other stuff i'd forgtten i had, ive found a verto slave mounted on a verto bracket with a verto arm cable tied to the end of it. (actually the fact that its all still together would suggest i didnt take it off, because i normally throw everything in a pile rather than being methodical about it! so dont know where it came from? lol!)

been sat in the shed for a couple of years (maybe longer) so could certainly not guarantee it would work ok. The bracket and arm look fine, (not too sure anything other than the little ball wearing goes wrong with these anyway) but the rubber on the end of the slave looks none too hot, may still work tho.......

havent got the bits that go on the 'wok' but iirc you can just take the split pin out, push the clevis pin out, put this arm in, and reinstate clevis pin, and chuck a new split pin in.

the slave rebuild kits are only about £3 anyway from most motor factors. all it is is a new rubber boot for the end and a seal inside.
