Folks,

The engineering & registration process here in Australia for a turbo'd Mini requires that I prove that a Mini was produced with the same track as my car has (or up to 25mm wider). As my 1967 car now has Metro Turbo brakes and 12x5 wheels, it's obviously wider than when it was made (with drum brakes & 10 x 4.5 wheels). Unfortunately the track isn't quite as wide as the Sportpack mini, so I can't make use of this specification.

I was hoping someone might point me to the track specification for the ERA turbo, or some other mini which was produced with track of 1325-1350mm front, and 1250-1275mm rear.

I would need reference to published material (online or otherwise), as I don't think the authorities will accept the word of an expert contributing to this forum. (Of course, I would!).

I've scoured the web for ERA turbo and as much other material as I can google, but no luck yet!

Thanks in advance.
Matt

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Some laws etc regarding cars in foreign countries astound me. I think people get bored and make shit up and try to pass it for law for a laugh in the office.

(im English btw to save confusion)
