Hello, as above and just seeing if anyone has one they won't be using even though this is a slim chance but just checking before hand. |

Do they still do reprofiled cams? I thought it was billet only now? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Re-profiled means they regrind an existing cam to get the new lobe shape and as the new lobe will inevitably need to be "longer" than a standard cam, the only way it can be done is by grinding the whole lobe on a smaller diameter base circle. Also if lift is being increased, the base circle must be made smaller.

Hmm right ok. Suppose I could have it done and run everything new and just have a look in a years time to inspect wear. |

Avonbar are deffinately still re-profilling the ph2, i've just had one done. |
