did you not get the other one working then?

the mk1 reg will work the same as the one you have.

so the only way i'm going to solve my rear brakes locking up is buying the KAD bias system...or similar....my understanding of this is that its the same as the later ones on the bulkhead. mk3 onwards? IS it not then?

esentally with the in line regulators like the one you poseted the other day and the mini one you should be able to turn them down untill the rear brakes do bugger all.

with mine (mounted in the car) i can press the pedal and hear the bias valve shut.

are the 1/2" ones the on the metro rear ? have been looking at brake systems for my mini , the metro has a pressure compensating valve that looks like the one on the bulkhead of the mini (later type ) but has a bolt in one hole at top (metro haynes) near the big nut ... any help ..

stef what are the symptoms?
do you push the pedala few times ten it goes rock hard?
or they just lock up as in when your driving?
i may have one...
