Hi all, picked this up last night, just been out for a blast and I love it!

Sure you all know about these and theres not much to tell but it's the S2 111s version with the 160bhp K series engine.
Im glad I found one with a hard top, but hope I wont have to use that to much.









and no i havent just driven it down that track.. just stopped to take some pics *happy*

nice car, brings back memories I was a principle chassis design engineer on the Monza - MK2 Elise and your car the "Monsanto" project which was a slightly updated Monza, never owned one just borrowed them for "development" work.lol

why not just buy a vx220 and leave the real engine in the lotus *tongue*

i have noticed when jacking an elise/vx220 on the "rear" jacking points that the k-series engined cars lift there arse. the vx220's are perfectly balanced and the toyota engind elises lift the front of the car!

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

which jacking points are they? The ones under the aluminium in the engine area?

Theres the ones at the front, middle, and back. When I use the middle ones on mine it lifts the one side completely-very handy

sorry was referring to the middle ones, or the rear most visible without removing anything *tongue* lovely cars though, wish i could afford one :)
