I am about to embark on a new challenge.

I want to make a bespoke alluminium dashboard for my mini.

It is going to replace the top and bottom dash rails and look similar to a full lenth bulkhead box.

I am wondering if anyone has done this before and can give me some tips or even pics.

not too sure about replacing the top and bottom dash rails, i thought they were structural?!?!?! Maybe best look at some way of some way of making up some sort of bracing? like a peice of steel box section welded in top and bottom, then the ali dash rivited or glued on?

he has info about how he built his own ali dash,
looks pretty good actually and not too complicated to do
