Today I have re-run some of my brake lines and fitted and adjustable bias valve to the estate.

i would get a local engineering firm to do it unless your totally confident. reason being the nipple is harder than the caliper, so it wont take much fo rthe drill bit to wander to the weaker metal and screw things up. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

I had the same problem with mine - got an engineer to sort them out in the end. |

Can you not get it out with a small stud extractor mate? |

problem with the stud extractors I've had in the past is that if they break it makes it that much harder to sort out |

im going to have a go at removing it tomorrow... the last time it was removed was 6 months ago and its been garaged so I think / hope I can pop it out with heat, penetrating oil and a some "creative engineering" |

Trt, if you can, to have the caliper clamped under a pillar drill and go very slowly at first, with a small drill.Sometimes the heat of drilling will loosen them,so once you have a hole,try knocking an old allen key in and turning it before you drill too big and cause a lot of grief. |

s there a stronger bleed nipple to replace the stock items to stop this happening? Yes i moved to the darkside |

There is -stainless, but just dont do them up with gorilla strength and put a smear of Copaslip on them first. |

i took it in to be done today, and the chap refused to do it as if does not like doing brakes... Need to find another place... Grr anyone here got decent enough pillar drill and the guts to do it? |
