With a bit of luck my supercharged mpi will be back on the road next week now that ive finally finished putting the IAT sensor and map sensor take off in the inlet manifold.

The supercharger theory post has really got me thinking about cooling the charge temperature and now that the sensor is in the inlet i will finally be able to see whats actually going on in there. This got me thinking about Nitrous Oxide and if it would actually be a wise and beneficial decision to drop a shot in just before the charger to cool things down whilst also giving more power.

Has anyone done this before? i dont really know much about Nitrous but will start researching it if its worthwhile.

My engine is 1293 with Forged Omegas, hardened crank, balanced rods, ARP bolts, ARP head bolts (all be it theres only 9 of them) lightened flywheel uprated 150bhp verto clutch, SC drops and clubman sc gear kit. BHP is approx 145-150

So would i have to do anything else to my engine? would i need to make it 11 stud? And would it be worthwhile or more myther than its worth?

Andy, I would consider water injection if all you are looking to to is cool the charge temps.

If you are looking for an extra boost of power, then nitrous is an option.

However, neither of these are a permanant solution to the lack of intercooling unfortunately

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
